Amuralab (Quaglio e Simonelli)

The creative partnership Quaglio Simonelli is result of the meeting between Andrea Quaglio and Manuela Simonelli. Education in Reggio Emilia, Italy and based in Paris, they made their debut alongside Philippe Starck, with whom they collaborated for two years. Then they opened their independent product design studio. Designers developed lighting solutions and furnishing accessories, but also dealt with brand identity in  the cosmetics industry, alternating big brands or quality high-end niche businesses as customers. Quaglio Simoncelli's projects combines the two creative souls: objects that look familiar at a first sight, which actually have a strong iconic and poetic identity. They have been awarded with several prizes: Red Dot Product Design Award, IF Product Design Award, HKDA Award and ètoile de l'Observeur, to name a few. Several of their products are included in the National Contemporary Art Fund at the Georges Pompidou Center in Paris.
