Zaha Hadid

Zaha Hadid (1950 - 2016) is considered the most important female representative of contemporary architecture: a true archistar, she was the first woman to win the Pritzker Prize in 2004. Born in Baghdad, she studied mathematics at the American University in Beirut before moving to England, in 1972, to attend the courses of the Architectural Association.
