Achille & Pier Giacomo Castiglioni
Achille Castiglioni (Milan, 1918-2002) graduated in architecture in 1944: worked as professor at Milano and Turin university for over 25 years and during his career as product design he succeeded in winning 9 Compasso d'Oro awards. His brother Pier Giacomo Castiglioni (1913-1968), opened the studio "Architettura, Edifici Urbani e Ricerca nella Progettazione industriale" with third Castiglioni brother Livio, soon replaced by Achille. After graduating from the Politecnico di Milano he worked with Carlo Pagani, became a professor at the faculty of architecture in Milan. Until his death he was member of either the National Council of Architects Association and the Building Commission of the city of Milan.
