Tolix
Iconic design.
Tolix leaves a significant mark in the history of twentieth century design. Thanks to French designer Xavier Pauchard using galvanized sheets of metal to manufacture a chair produced in series for the first time in 1934.His famously-designed "Chaise A" now belongs to the collection of MoMA and the Pompidou center.
Incarnation of the modern style of the '30s - '50s, the Tolix metal furniture has gone through eras and styles to become a design classic.
At the beginning of the 2000s, Tolix appeals to a new generation of designers who inflict a new energy to the brand: Normal Studio, Chantal Andriot, Sébastien Bergne: the new collections Tolix are the contemporary expression of industrial design.
