Background

With pulling inspiration way back from the industrial revolution, Streetroom.it has become an idea incubator, a hotbed, a circle of furniture artists. Streetroom.it looks at the world around them and sees beyond what our eyes can see. They believe that objects cannot have one single use; they can be taken apart and reassembled to create something new and unique. To them, furniture follows no trends; they are looking for what is missing, guessing what is out there, and making it recognizable. For this reason, Streetroom.it’s collections are constantly changing. They look, think, create and share. Their furnishings are experiments: you will find unique pieces, items manufactured in small quantities or something they loved so much, they had it industrialized

Philosophy

Streetroom.it believes in reuse: saving what has already been done, keeping in tact the beauty of an object with its own history and only changing its intended use. Streetroom.it collections reinterpret materials such as iron, leather and glass: elements originally associated only to factories and that now you can instead find either in private spaces and public areas.

Iconic Products

Metal and wood are two common industrial furniture materials, enriched by leather upholstery for chairs and armchairs. Since these materials are versatile, industrial pieces blend well with several designer styles and perfectly mix either with modern or rustic furniture, for example. If, instead, you want to give a 100% retro look to your spaces, smooth lines with textile and color.

LC Jeans Sofa

Vintage/Industrial Reinterpretation of the famous Sofa designed by Le Corbusier.

Structure is in painted steel, highlighting the natural processes of welding: coating achieved with the use of at least 4 pairs of jeans. Jeans to manufacture the sofa can be provided by the customer.
