Giancarlo Zema

Giancarlo Zema

Born in Rome in 1973, Giancarlo Zema graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at La Sapienza University of Rome under Professor Giovanni Zuccon, one of the leading naval architects on the international scene. In 2001, he founded the Giancarlo Zema Design Group architecture studio in Rome, specializing in the design of semi-submerged architectural structures, floating homes, yachts, and interior design.

The main feature of his design is its soft lines and clear references to biomorphic forms. Sensitive to new technologies, Zema always equips his projects with highly high-performing technological elements, perfectly integrated into an organic design.

His projects are regularly featured in television programs, radio interviews, and important international publications in books, scientific journals, architecture magazines, and design magazines, all recognizing their innovative strength. To date, he has been featured in more than one hundred publications and on countless covers.
