Andries Van Onch
Andries Van Onck, born in 1928 in Amsterdam, studied Industrial design in the Netherlands before joining the Gestaltung in Ulm. He has lived in Italy since 1959, where he worked with Ettore Sottsass Jr. on the design of the first Olivetti machines. Hiroko Takeda, born in 1945, graduated from the Tokyo Academy, to then work with various Japanese firms. She then moved to Italy with Andries Van Onck. In 1965 he founded his own studio in Milan, where with his wife, developed mumerous projects with brands like Zanussi, Bertazzani, Magis and Amplyvox and many more.
