Harry Bertoia

Harry (Arieto) Bertoia was an all-round artist: he was a sculptor, musician, graphic designer, designer, jewellery maker and engraver. The well-known Italian-born Italian designer is famous for the variety of his creations influenced by the observation of nature and the native land (San Lorenzo di Valvasone Arzene in the province of Pordenone).Knoll historian Brian Lutz once said: "Bertoia's paintings were better than his sculptures. And his sculptures were better than his furniture. And his furniture was absolutely brilliant ».
