Carlo Mollino
Italian Designe (1905 - 1973) was born in Turin, Carlo Mollino is one of those artists that have pushed, with all their strength, the presents towards the future, making it become closer, with a personal vision that was completely the opposite of the one during that era. In 1931 he graduates in architecture even though he already won the prize G. Pistono in architecture earlier thanks to his beach house in Forte dei Marmi. His furniture have become 'cult' objects over the years, sold in the most pretigious auctions. His oak and crystal table for example set a record a Christie's, being sold for over 3 million dollars.
