Eero Saarinen
Eero Saarinen was born in Finland in the city of Kirkkonummi. He studied in Paris at the Académie de la Grande Chaumiére and at Yale University.
He moved to the United States in 1923, graduated from Yale in 1934, and started working with his well-known father, designer Eliel Saarinen, Art Nouveau key figure.
Eero Saarinen initially focused on sculpture, his favourite form of artistic expression, and after having attended an art school for a year, he decided to become an architect, in strong connection with sculpture.His architectural and design creations successfully combine colours, shapes and an endless list of materials
