Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba

Italian designer, Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba studied at the Art Institute and at the Academy of Fine Arts: he is a designer-sculptor.
The relationship between Man and Nature is the leit motiv of his design process: this is why the animal-themed collections he designed (amongst others: Monkey Lamps and Mouse Lamps by Seletti) combine the artistic side with a plausible representation of the world around us. His art background taught him the elegance behind an idea: synthesis and clean lines are the crucial elements you can recognized in all the furniture items he designed and in the art projects he supervised.
