Brand Spotlight - Episode XXVII: paolodonadello

Paolo Donadello began his career in lighting design and creation in 1984. His creations have since distinguished his mastery from normal manufactured pieces. He intermingles artistry with technique, creating works of art. The Italian Association of Architectural Programmers of Interior Design describe his work, “Poetry united with the formality of equilibrium” in 1991 when they awarded him the AIPI prize. In 2003 he founded PAOLODONADELLO SRL, the company that bears his name as a formal manifesto of his determination to maintain the distinguishing traits and research that are the hallmark of his creations, even on an industrial scale. True to form he still creates the rusted finishinges obtained only via manual intervention, rendering every piece unique.

OMBELìN

This rechargeable lamp has a shape that recalls that of a small umbrella, from which its unique name is derived: “Ombelin”; a name which combines the words “umbrella” with “bellino” (italian for cute).
Ideal as a reading or atmosphere inducing lamp for restaurants or locales which require an intimate and refined ambiance. One Ombelìn is enough to light up a table for 6 persons.

OMBELìN TERRA

This one is an evolution of the original Ombelìn lamp, in a much bigger size that can serve as a floor lamp for any room in homes or restaurants. Given its nature, it can be moved wherever it is more necessary.

OMBELON

Ombelon, the XXL version of the iconic Ombelìn rechargeable lamp. Be sure to create an unique atmosphere with this addition. It is also available with in a cabled version and can be finishes in a myriad of colors and effects.

APIOMBO

Apiombo is a suspended lamp with an integrated LED with rechargeable lithium battery (9-hour duration), designed to be hung everywhere, without the need of an electrical socket.
Hang it everywhere you like, for example, in the branches of trees, thanks to its plumb.

QUAD 2

Bollard with double emission in brushed stainless steel or rust effect.
Intended as an illumination of external facades, ways and hedges.

VATINNE

Wall mounted lamp for exteriors or areas in which lamps require protection from penetration by liquids, such as baths, swimming pools, changing areas, spas or showers. Available in rust effect finishes, brushed or stainless steel, and, upon request, anthracite.
