Episode XXV: Plank

Plank is a company with a history stretching back to 1953. True to its corporate vocation for research, its object is to explore the possibilities offered by state-of-the-art technology and to harness them to the principles of design.
The Plank Collection is distinguished by the diversity of its product types, ranging from chairs and armchairs to lounge seating, table systems and stools. Plank products have won numerous prizes and awards, such as the XXII Compasso d’Oro for the MYTO chair and the IF Product Design Award – Gold selection for the MIURA stool, and are exhibited in leading museums worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Design Museum in Munich and the Art Institute of Chicago.

Miura Stool: Stool made of polypropylene available in black, white, pure orange, traffic red, wine red, light blue, yellow green. Stackable. Indoor and outdoor use.

Miura Table: Table system, structure in powder coated aluminum or polished aluminum, table top in metal, MDF, HPL in color black, white, red (metal only). With folding table top. Indoor and outdoor use.

Myto Chair: Cantilever chair entirely made of plastic in black, white, traffic red, pure orange, yellow green, light blue. Stackable, for indoor and outdoor use.

Monza Table: Aluminum structure with white or black powder coating, aluminum legs with white or black powder coating or natural ash veneer surface, table top in white or black high pressure laminate (HPL).

Blocco Chair: Ash wooden structure – natural lacquered, black stained lacquered or colored with a matt open grain in grey, white and blue. Stackable.

Land Chair: Lounge chair entirely made of plastic (rotational moulding) in the colors black, white, basalt grey, signal grey, traffic red. For indoor and outdoor use.

Biagio Cisotti + Sandra Laube

Bon Table: Cast iron base and metal column powder coated in the colors black, white or grey aluminum. Table top in high pressure laminate (HPL) Full Color or in MDF powder coated in black or white. Gliders in plastic.

Millefoglie Chair: Stackable chair, chromed plated metal structure, seat and back in molded plywood veneered with zebrano.

Mon Ami Armchair: injected flame-retardant polyurethane foam with steel frame, matt chrome or black feet, coverings in leather or textile.
