Known also as Cesca or Breuer was conceived in 1929 and continues to be produced today, maintaining its place of better known cantilever chair. It was designed following the inspiration of Marcel Breuer after seeing the exhibition of the Werkbund "Die Wohnung" in Stuttgart in 1927, in which were visible the Stam Chair, by Mart Stam, and the MR 10, of Mies Van Der Rohe. The Vienna stool has a chromed steel structure while backrest and seat are made of curved beech wood and Vienna straw.
